 #one of my biggest fears for Cas #that Dean and Sam will grow old then die #and he won’t be allowed to go back to heaven #but isn’t human so he can’t die #so he has to continue living on earth without them #and when he asks his brothers why he can’t come back to heaven #they’ll say #’this is what you wanted isn’t it Castiel? You wanted to be on earth.’ #but of course they know he wanted to be on earth to be with the boys #but this is his punishment #to continue living without them #to walk each day knowing they’re in his home and he isn’t

-and I’m damn positive no one else in the world is gonna put up with me for as long and as good as you have. Along with Sam, you’re the best thing that’s happened to me and for some reason you’re still here. I mean, what the hell am I supposed to say? We survived a hell of a lot of over the years together so being married to me can’t be any worse than an apocalypse and you exploding all over the place, right? We’ve saved each other’s asses so many times I can’t freakin’ remember them all and now it’s weird when you’re not here when I go to sleep… and… So, I wanna marry you and get everyone else off my back about making you an “honest man” and I… love you. Probably a lot more than is healthy so just take the ring, I know it’s stupid and not really our thing, but maybe we can try the whole “family” thing one day or we’ll keep hunting… and I need to stand up. My knees aren’t what they used to be.
